1708 Queen Anne Crown – Edinburgh Mint
A scarce and historically important post-Union silver crown of Queen Anne, struck at the Edinburgh mint in 1708. This impressive large silver coin features the second draped bust of Anne facing left with the Edinburgh mint mark E below the bust, and crowned cruciform shields on the reverse with the date 1708. A classic early milled crown, desirable for both type and the distinctive Scottish mint origin.
