Numicraft Is Opening a New Coin Collecting Shop in Hemel Hempstead’s Historic Old Town

We’re excited to announce that Numicraft is soon opening a new collectible coin and banknote shop in the heart of Hemel Hempstead’s Old Town High Street – often called the prettiest street in Hertfordshire.

This beautiful, historic street is home to antique shops, independent coffee houses, and traditional pubs, all set against a backdrop of local heritage. Just steps away from our shop, you’ll find St Mary’s Church, whose 200-foot spire is the tallest in Hertfordshire and a proud symbol of the town’s Norman roots.

Our new store will specialise in:

Collectible coins
Medals, tokens, and historic banknotes
Lindner Collectible Accessories – albums, cases, and tools for every serious collector
Buying gold and silver as well as offering free valuations – perfect for anyone curious about the value of their old coins or jewellery

You’ll also be able to visit us during the popular Old Town Sunday Market, held on the first Sunday of every month (except January, February & March) from 11 am – 3 pm.

You’ll find around 60+ stalls selling:

Artisan baked goods & hot food
Craft items, preserves & jewellery
Handmade gifts, cards, local artwork
And much more

It’s located in St Mary’s Square, under the Old Town Hall arches, in the Church Hall, and surrounding church grounds. The High Street is pedestrianised on market day (10 am–4 pm), and public toilets and disabled facilities are available on-site
